Vampire cults were strangely popular in the 1990's. The seductive nature of the clubs drew in many unsuspecting victims. We discuss some of these victims on this episode. Later, Mike & Josh re-do their first ever segment of Uncovering Unexplained Mysteries which was the disturbing case of The Son of Sam.

The elaborate way the FBI went about apprehending drug lord Jesus Penalver was something of legend. Next we discuss Randal Utterback. This is another one of those "crazy boyfriend" segments where the loser boyfriend tries to subjugate an innocent woman. This guy is STILL on the lamb.

In this episode we talk about the murder of Don Smith. Who did it? Why was it done? If a tree falls in the forest and no one's there to hear it, does it.... oh sorry got a little off track there... anyway, after that we talk about a mysterious case in every sense of the word. Dorothy Scott... was it even a segment on Unsolved Mysteries? Nobody knows for sure... but she died and we want answers.

This week we talk about the Texas thrill kills that took place in Gainesville. These kids were a couple of dicks. Why did they have to do that? Assholes... Next we get even crazier with another "satanic panic" case but this time they have a horrible nickname to go along with their cult. The "Skaters" leader, Chris Prudhomme, was responsible for the brutal murder of a young married couple. Lastly, we cover a "where are they now" article pertaining to many of the cases featured on Unsolved Mysteries.

In this episode we discuss the suspicious death of Debbie Wolfe. Her body was found in an old oil drum in a lake behind her house... yet it was ruled an "accident". After that we discuss the case of Johnny Lee Wilson. Johnny was a mildly retarded individual who was unfairly coerced into a false confession of the murder of a 79 year old woman. The same thing that happened to the West Memphis Three happened to Johnny... I'm starting to see a pattern here... Also Josh & Mike answer the questions you submitted on our Uncovering Unexplained Mysteries Facebook group!

- Dick Hansen first aired on the February 16th, 1994 episode.

- Hugh Harlin first aired on the April 6th, 1994 episode.

---------------------------------------

In this episode we discuss the seemingly random and senseless murder of Dick Hansen. The only clue police have for a motive is Hansen's friend's car had the license plate "49er Hugs". Was this guy an enraged sports fan? Either way he's a douchebag. Next we discuss the disappearance of Hugh Harlin. Before Hugh went missing his wife was found dead. His wife also made Hugh eat dog food. Did Hugh know more than what he told police? You can't make this stuff up.

Sorry for the delay... just had a little hurricane to deal with no big deal. For part one of this story, check out episode 52 of our podcast. For part two, check out episode 57. We return with part 3 of the West Memphis Three saga. In this documentary entitled Paradise Lost: Purgatory, we see the blame shift to yet another parent of one of the murdered children. Also, DNA evidence finally makes it's way into the evidence! This documentary takes place more than 10 years after the previous documentary and it's a huge turning point in the case.

- Frank Olson first aired on the September 25, 1994 episode of Unsolved Mysteries.

- Lisa Bishop & The Freedon ran on Unsolved Mysteries on October 17, 1990.

---------------------------------------

In this episode we discuss the missing crew of the Freedon. Lisa Bishop was aboard the Freedon. She was young and very ambitious which might have led to her ultimate demise. We end with the case of Frank Olson. It's fairly well known at this point that the government did experiments on unknowing people with the drug LSD in the 1960's, Frank Olson was the casualty of one of these experiments.

- Tom Johnson first aired on April 27, 1994.

- The Mexican UFO first aired on October 28, 1994.

---------------------------------------

In this episode we talk about the douche bag murderer Tom Johnson. He scammed an innocent couple into buying a "high tech" computer and then beat them with a hammer. To this day he has never been apprehended. Next, right in time (almost) for the solar eclipse we talk about the Mexican UFO sightings that happened during the previous solar eclipse last century. Plus, John Cosgrove is hopeful that Unsolved Mysteries will be brought back with new episodes by the end of this year, whhhaaattt?? Good thing or bad thing?
