Uncovering Unexplained Mysteries

WELL! Party's over! Back to normal with this week's set of cases. First we talk about Joe O'Brien's psychic experience he had when he imaged himself as his friend Sammy who was, at the time, being held as a prisoner of war. Once Sammy was released and reunited with Joe he realized that Joe was able to describe precisely what Sammy had gone through. Next we have one of the most clearest mislabeling of deaths in military history. LaVena Johnson supposedly committed suicide while stationed in Balad, Iraq. None of the facts, however, back up that statement. This case goes much deeper into America's addiction to contractors and mercenaries. These people are para-military for-hire who do not fall under the same jurisdiction as American military. LaVena was most likely a victim of one of these people.

Jesus...200 episodes... I don't think I've ever done 200 of anything in my life. This podcast represents stability in my life and I have loved meeting all of you over these last 4 years. You guys continue to warm the arteries and veins leading to my heart (that was a weird way of putting it). Anyway, this is a long ass podcast with lots of chit-chat, fan service and the mystery of Aimee Willard. What happened to Aimee after she left Smokey Joe's Tavern the night of June 19th, 1996?

On this week's episode Mike returns and the case of Leah Roberts is discussed. She went on a road trip to ''find herself'' after reading a bunch of Jack Kerouac books. Her vehicle was later discovered in a ravine with Leah nowhere in sight. Next we investigate the case of Bryan Nisenfeld. A shy young adult who didn't fare too well in his first few semesters at college. Then he really didn't fare too well when a boot with his foot was found on the shore of some beach. Who killed Bryan? Was it a supposed gay lover who was going to out Bryan? WHO KNOWS! And for the coup de grâce of this episode a young Josh bitches about every aspect of his life in the Perks of Being a Joshflower.

On this week's episode we have Stephanie joining Josh while they talk about the final episode of season one of the new Unsolved Mysteries series on Netflix. Sandy had several kids with several different fathers throughout her life. One of them she allegedly killed. Her daughter Lena was a witness and years later when she went to testify she could not be found. There are theories that her mother ''made her disappear''. What do you think?

On this week's episode we discuss Mahfuz Huq, TALK ABOUT JEALOUSY. A young woman decides she wants to re-connect with her former love interest. This doesn't sit well with current boyfriend Mahfuz, and he exacts his revenge, then goes on the lamb for like... a really long time. Next we discuss another serial killer and who doesn't love hearing about that. Finally we end on emo Josh when he was 15 years old in the Perks of Being a Joshflower.

***THE SHIRT GUY IS BEING SUPER LAME, NO IDEA WHEN THE SHIRTS WILL BE READY, WILL LET YOU KNOW ASAP***

On this week's episode we go down under and explore the topic of the Dutch being the first white settlers of Australia instead of the English. This was a Patreon request and neither Mike nor Josh have any idea what they are talking about SHOULD BE FUN. Next we discuss the smarmy Jon Maggio. Jon was a short tempered con man who shot a guy in the knee cap WHAT A DICK! Finally we end with Josh reading some of his diary entries from when he was a teenager, the hair flipping is in full effect.

***NEW UUM SHIRTS SHOULD BE AVAILABLE TO ORDER FRIDAY, AUGUST 14TH***

On this week's episode we talk about the most disappointing case featured on the new Unsolved Mysteries Netflix re-boot, the "Berkshire UFO" case. The only UFO episode so far, the Berkshire UFO case suffers from a lack of quality re-enactments and overall boring dialogue. Mike and Josh would rather watch a Lost Loves segment from the original UM than this trite slog.

Alonzo Brooks was a young man who went to a hillbilly-ass party in the middle of nowhere and was probably murdered. Whodunnit? Maybe you can help. Next we discuss the case of serial killer Richard Chase. This guy would have probably been good friends with Dahmer. Finally we conclude on the Perks of Being a Joshflower.

In this week's episode we cover the mysteries case of Taylor Kramer, former bass player for the psychedelic rock band Iron Butterfly (Ina-gada-davida bayyybayyy!). After Kramer retired from the rock world he became successful in the world of technology. Kramer had developed a, at the time, state of the art program that could find missing children. As time went on, however, Kramer started experiencing delusions and became more paranoid. Eventually Kramer went missing, leaving his grieving wife wondering what went wrong. Next we discuss the heart warming case of Michele West. As a teenager, West ran away from home and while on a Greyhound was concvinced by three men, who at first she perceived as frightening, to return home. Not only did these men help convince her to return home but they protected her on her journey. Finally Josh reads more from his newly discovered diaries that he wrote when he was a teenager in our second installment of "The Perks of Being a Joshflower".
