CDC definition of Close Contact

1) Within 6 ft. for more than 10 minutes

2) Direct contact with infectious secretions

Recommended to wear PPE when in close contact, which includes gown, gloves (latex/nitrile), N95 respirator, and eye protection.

Best option - maintain social distance

1) Wash Hands

2) Bathe / Shower

3) Wash Clothes

4) Disinfect Tools using wipes or soapy water
