  • Visions of the Road to Mania – UTRR041
This week we lay out our predictions for the Road to Wrestlemania. Some of our ideas have a good chance of happening, but Cousin Tom has one wish that I think it almost as unbelievable as Santa Claus, but we’ll see who has the last laugh. Enjoy this weeks show as we try our hand at being arm chair bookers, but I don’t see anyone beating down our door to help with their promotion.

This year they give the gift of laughter, so with some help from Santa and his elves they try to spread enough holiday cheer to get you though spending the holidays with your relatives. Enjoy their tongue and cheek holiday special.

  • Tom Zenk Shoot Interview – UTRR035
Tom Zenk has passed away at the age of 59, and fans will remember him from his time in WWF as part of the Can-Am Connection with Rick Martel and later in WCW tagging with Brian Pillman. We had the pleasure of interviewing him in late 2000 and he was one of our best  interviews we had on the show because no topic was off limits. Tom was brutally honest during this shoot interview, but it gives you an idea of the type of person he was and his thoughts on the business. Tom Zenk talked about how he got started and then he discussed his dealings with a lot of the main players in wrestling during his career. Enjoy this look back at The Z-man, Tom Zenk.

  • Saturday Night Main Event – UTRR034
This week we date ourselves and talk about the WWF TV program Saturday Night Main Event. This program ran from 1985 to 1992 on NBC and was the show to watch in the 80’s if you wanted to see the stars of the World Wrestling Federation. At the time this was the WWF’s version of RAW and Smackdown during the 80’s because of the large amount of people that would watch. Cousin Tom and Myself talk about or favorite matches from the show and the impact they had on major storylines during that time. Plus I have to give Tom credit for calling something that happened last week so I let him bask in the glory.

What he felt was the biggest difference between the Rock and Wrestling Era and the Attitude Era. Plus his thoughts on Vince Russo and Eric Bischoff and his time in WCW and his last run in the WWF. He also talks about how he’d like fans to remember him after he hangs up the tights. Don’t miss this flashback interview.

We discuss how the Broken gimmick might work in WWE and just how far they can take the gimmick with the WWE universe. Plus I talk about what the greatest threat to having a full on Broken Matt Hardy is for all us fan. Then we throw out who we’d like to see as Matt’s first feud if he does go full broken. Also get ready because the year end awards will be out for you to vote on soon and you can leave your opinion on the Under the Ring Report voicemail to be used on the show.
