Max Vertsappen inches closer to leading the formula 1 championship.

In this episode of the Undercut Society, Allison and Lynnette discuss the Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix! The weekend kicked off with some interesting incidents in the practice sessions- grass fires, a huge crash by Jack Doohan, and with Yuki Tsunoda's first time as a Redbull driver! 

Qualifying brought an exciting fight for pole position as Max Verstappen claimed his first pole of the season, beating out both Mclarens. The race proved how important the drivers qualifying positions were as it was a pretty difficult to overtake.

The first sprint race weekend of the year saw Ferrari on top followed by a quick fall to the bottom after having both drivers disqualified! Other teams like Haas, Williams, and the Racing Bulls are looking promising, while the Mclaren and Mercedes are showing to be the top contenders so far this year.

In this episode of the Undercut Society podcast, Allison and Lynnette review the Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix. 

It was the last sprint weekend of the year and Lando Norris surprised us all by switching positions with Oscar Piastri just before crossing the finish line. 

The race started off with plenty of chaos setting off safety cars. As things began to settle down, a broken mirror laying right on the track set off a chain reaction of events including a 10 second stop and go penalty for Lando, 2 punctures affecting Lewis Hamilton and Carlos Sainz, and other penalties!
