Today on the Hadean Podcast we are very happy to present Carl Nordblom, author of Historiola - The power of narrative charms. In this episode Carl and I discuss the meaning and history of this ancient and powerful technique which has deep roots within the magical practices of cultures from all over the world, as well as the phenomenological applications and implications of its use.

We explore the manner in which these narrative charms are spoken, their use as both medicinal aids and the nature of their internal structures and geographies. We speculate on the nature of their power, the magical voice, and debate the nature of the Mythic as opposed to the mystical, the nature of Time and the immanent practicality of the virtues from which they are constructed.
