    Tray and Melody are joined by Mo Isom to talk her books, Jesus, tough conversations, and her own undone redone story. Mo, Mel and Tray discuss parenting kids to have a healthy view on sex and purity.

    Mo talks through her undoing story of identity issues, eating disorder struggles, loss, grief and brokenness. She tells us of how she reached her rock bottom and from that moment forward God has totally changed her life and what she had planned. She lets us in on how she went through season of isolation and she went through a season of fasting to totally dive into what the Lord was telling her to do. That meant stepping away from families and settings that she was comfortable with, but how this allowed her to step into true friendship, true community and the true calling God had her life.

    Mo has written two books Wreck My Life: Journeying from Broken to Bold and Sex, Jesus, and the Conversations the Church Forgot.     Tray is joined by Dave McIntyre who won season two of The History Chanels hit reality show ALONE. Dave talks his wilderness survival skills, relying on God during trying times, and a little bit about his own undone redone journey.

    Dave takes through his journey of finding a love for Christ and the wilderness and how he was able to open a wilderness survival ministry in Brazil. He was able to live both his passions together until he came face to face with his own undoing, which for Dave was a divorce. This divorce caused him to lose his ministry and he found himself back in Michigan. He was approached by the producers to submit a casting for the show ALONE.

    After being offered a position on the show he accepted a place and that began his journey. He spent 66 days on the north end of Vancouver Island living off the land in isolation. Listen to hear more about his journey.

    Melody is joined by Kristen Jensen from Protect Young Minds for episode 159 to talk her ministry, her books and faith based parenting.

    Kristen is the founder of Protect Young Minds and best-selling author of Good Pictures Bad Pictures: Porn-Proofing Today's Young Kids and Good Pictures Bad Pictures Jr.: A Simple Plan to Protect Young Minds. She serves on the Prevention Task Force of the National Coalition on Sexual Exploitation. She received her bachelor's degree in English Literature and her master's degree in Organizational Communication. Kristen grew up in both Wyoming and Massachusetts, is the mother of three awesome children, and currently lives with her husband in beautiful Washington State.

    Tray is joined by seminary professor Dr. Chuck DeGroat to discuss masculine initiation, his books, his personal journey, and the shame that impacts everyone.

    Chuck gives us an insight on a significant moment of experiencing shame and how he took that specific moment to start a journey of looking at his sexual and emotional story.

    Tray and Chuck discuss the crisis of masculinity that faces our culture and society today. Chuck offers his opinion on how we need to address this issue and what Christian Men can do to help grow men up at an earlier age.

    Chuck is a professor of Counseling and Christian Spirituality at Western Theological Seminary in Holland, MI. He is also co-founder and Senior Fellow at Newbigin House of Studies in San Francisco. He has spent the last 20+ years in a fluid combination of pastoral ministry, seminary teaching, and clinical counseling. His writings are mostly about the intersections of psychology, theology, and Christian spirituality with a focus on our lived experience of oneness and worthiness in Jesus.

    Prior to going to Western Theological Seminary, Chuck was a teaching pastor at City Church San Francisco, where he co-founded Newbigin House of Studies, an urban and missional training center. He has also started two church counseling centers, a Lay Counseling Program and a Fellows program. All of this represents his commitment to formation for mission.

    His first book is Leaving Egypt: Finding God in the Wilderness Places, which represents his narrative biblical paradigm for understanding counseling, care and formation. His second book, The Toughest People to Love focuses on caring for the most difficult people leaders encounter. His third book Wholeheartedness brings a version of wholeness admit our perfectionism and shame-based culture. Chuck also has a self-published Lenten Devotional called Falling Into Goodness.

    Tray is joined by Brett Hendrix of Changing Lanes Ministries to discuss his story of grace, what his ministry is doing and his passion for change that happens in authentic community.

    Brett takes us through his journey of addiction and the impact that had on his childhood, marriage and continues to have on him today. After being exposed to the playboy channel at the age of 8, Brett suddenly found his identity engulfed by pornography for the rest of his years growing up. Fast forward through 22 years of addiction Brett was faced with a trio of events that ultimately led to him confessing to his wife and men's small group. With this confession came the removal of the burden of secrecy. In 2007, Brett starting meeting one on one with men to help them find victory over sexual addiction and then he launched Changing Lanes Ministries in 2010.

    Changing Lanes is a ministry devoted to leading individuals and families from the devastating effect of sexual addiction. Our mission is to provide Biblically based support and restoration for people struggling with sexual sins.

    Tray is joined by Jake Kissack and Ben Bennett from Josh McDowell ministries to talk their own struggles with pornography, the shame that comes with that and how they are using their stories to make a difference now.     Ben grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia and met Christ at an early age. After being heavily involved in the campus ministry of Cru throughout college, and developing a great desire to see college students transformed by the gospel, he joined their staff in 2011. For over 10 years of his life, Ben battled a porn addiction and other forms of habitual sexual sin before coming to lasting freedom through a Biblical and clinical approach to sexual addiction recovery.

    Until recently, Ben worked with the campus ministry of Cru serving as the Mid-Atlantic Regional Coordinator for Cru's sexual addiction recovery groups. He currently resides in Dallas, Texas and serves with Josh McDowell Ministry as an author, speaker, and evangelist supporting the health and restoration of men and women struggling with woundedness, habitual sin, and sexual brokenness. He enjoys traveling, music, and the finest of fast food cuisines, Taco Bell.

    Jake was raised where the buffalo still do roam, on his family's 3000 acre angus cattle ranch in Wyoming. His adventurous heart was pursued and captivated by Jesus as far back as memory serves. His passion to see Jesus bring life to all was bolstered in his master's degree thesis work on how pornography negatively affects the church. His 13 year journey with a porn addiction crushed his passion and compelled him to seek true freedom, which was found through Christian sexual addiction recovery. Jake resides in Dallas, Texas and serves as a developing author, speaker and evangelist, supporting the health and restoration of men and women struggling with woundedness, habitual sin, and sexual brokenness.

    Jessica Harris is the founder of Beggar's Daughter, a ministry dedicated to walking with women who have an addiction to pornography. Telling her own story of porn addiction and struggle with lust, Jessica seeks to help other women find hope, healing, and grace. Jessica shares resources and insights from her own journey on the Beggar's Daughter blog and occasionally travels and speaks on the topic of female lust addiction and how churches can minister to women who struggle. She resides just outside of Washington DC where she works as a teacher and serves on the Biblical counseling team in her church. She is the author of Love Done Right: Devos - A Journey From Lust into the Love of God and Beggar's Daughter.
