Undrafted Amateurs

Recorded January 17, 2023 | We were very wrong with our Super Wild Card predictions, but we’ve never been so happy to have been so wrong. On this episode we dive into all 6 of the pretty one-sided games from this past weekend, and take a look at the 4 upcoming Divisional Round games. Iceman inspires us with an unsung hero as always, and the draft for today is creating a dream offense from current NFL players.

The discussion then shifts to NFL coaching changes, including Mike Vrabel's surprising departure and uncertainties surrounding Belichick's future in New England. Other firings and coaching searches are touched upon, along with notable player bonuses.

The hosts delve into exciting playoff matchups, such as the Texans' impressive turnaround and the intense Bills vs. Dolphins game. Predictions for Super Wild Card Weekend are offered, with insights on matchups like Browns vs. Texans, Dolphins vs. Chiefs, Steelers vs. Bills, Packers vs. Cowboys, and Rams vs. Lions. The episode concludes with Joe and Allen sharing their favorite Super Bowl contenders and reminiscing about standout playoff performances over the last 15 years.

New year, new pod. The pod is back but it looks a little different. In this episode, Mr. Incognito removes his mask of anonymity and hops into the co-host chair. As the new year starts off, we had some exciting CFB semifinal games, a good week 17 in the NFL, and the consistency of the NFL refs still being terrible, and David Tepper making headlines again for being continuing to be an awful owner.

Recorded December 19, 2023 | The Eagles and Jags both dropped a third straight game, and Kadarius Toney had his second dropped pass that turned into an interception. The Raiders managed to put up 63 points against the Chargers a mere 4 days after being shutout. Jack Jones had one of the best pick 6s we’ve seen all year and Tee Higgins made an incredible touchdown catch. The Niners and Ravens look elite rolling into a Christmas showdown, and the officiating in the NFL still sucks. All in all, it was another great week of football, but as great this week was, it’s not the main thing on this episode. In this episode we have a big announcement about the future of the pod, so be sure to check it out.

We’re taking next week off, but Undrafted Amateurs will be back January 4th, with a new feel, but same great vibes.
