• The king, LeBron James scored 40 points on Sunday to join Michael Jordan as the only 2 with multiple 40-point games after turning 39. He also drained 9/10 3s, tying his career high.

• Devin Booker dropped 52 against the Pelicans, making it 3 straight games vs New Orleans where he scored 50+ 

• Both NC State and UConn are sending their men’s and women’s teams to the final four. This is the first time 2 schools accomplished this in the same season.

• Uconn’s men’s team went on an insane 30-0 run vs Illinois. 

• Baseball is back! And in the MLB we’ve already had our first no-hitter. On Monday, Ronel Blanco threw a no hitter vs the Blue Jays in his 8th career start. I believe this was the earliest a no-hitter was thrown in an MLB season.

• The Pirates and Yankees are both off to a hot 5-0 start. It is the first time since 1992 the Yankees have started off 5-0, and the first time since 1983 for Pittsburgh.

• Liberty Media, which owns Formula 1 and the Atlanta Braves, have acquired a majority stake in MotoGP. This deal now has the motorcycle racing circuit valued at $4.5B 

• In the Premiere League, the top 3 teams stayed the same after Asenal’s and Man City’s 0-0 draw. Right now, Liverpool is in 1st with 67 points and +120 odds, Arsenal is in 2nd with 65 points and +250 odds, and Man City is in 3rd with 64 points but +190 odds.

• Brock Purdy got paid! At least some. The NFL and NFL PA negotiated an increase on their Performance Pay-Based System that rewards players with lower salaries who play significant roles for their teams. And as a result, Purdy has nearly doubled his salary thanks to Monday's bonus check of $739,795.

Headlines: 

South Carolina's men's team may have faced disappointment with an early exit from the first round, but the women's team emerged victorious, showcasing their dominance with a stunning 88-41 win over North Carolina.

In the NFL, significant rule changes were on the agenda. Owners voted to ban the controversial "hip-drop tackle" and also implemented a new kickoff rule, promising to shake up the dynamics of the game.

International soccer witnessed an exhilarating showdown as the USMNT staged a remarkable comeback against Jamaica, securing a thrilling 3-1 win in extra time with a dramatic equalizer in the 95th minute.

Across the globe, the Dodgers and Padres clashed in the Seoul series held in South Korea. While the Dodgers claimed victory in game 1 with a 5-2 score, the Padres bounced back to win game 2 in a high-scoring affair, showcasing the depth of talent in both teams.
