BLC presents Pastor Adam and Vicar Paul on the 2nd Sunday of Pentecost. They discuss Jesus' sending of the twelve in Matthew 9 and 10. This rag tag bunch of people that Jesus called, gives us hope, in that they were not highly skilled orators, they weren't the rich and powerful. Rather, they were like the Dirty Dozen, except without skills. The did have compassion, they had a seemingly insane mission in front of them, and they took huge risks. How does compassion play out in our lives? What are examples of risks you've taken in your own faith walk?
