The trinity is a hard thing to get ones hands around. Then again, love would be too, if we just read about it or studied it. Solidarity has many parallels, we need to walk with, be angry alongside with, work for change with, and redeem and inspire, with others. Do we have compassion, do we recognize systemic problems, do we see oppression? Are we willing to take risks with love and action?

Hearing and listening to one another's stories forces one to understand the simple narrative of good guy vs bad guy is not so simple. Hearing doesn't necessarily make things better or even bring about forgiveness and reconciliation. Yet, through hearing, people are changed, and perhaps may be more open to understanding each other.
