In terms of walking down the eightfold path and adopting the 4 noble truths, we also come in contact with the five precepts. These 5 precepts remind me of some of the 10 commandments.
But it's less about following a certain commandment blindly and more about understanding how not doing so causing more suffering.

How do we "See the Forest through the Trees" so to speak? It requires us to take pause. Take in the moment...
This helps us in so many ways when it comes to mental wellness and personal wellness.
So many of us are trained to respond - when all we need to do is "take pause." This is how we prevent over-reaction with pain and suffering later.

Simply observing life around us - is action. Acceptance = Action. Learning to accept life as it is, is taking an action. You may love or hate the phrase, "It is what it is" but that is exactly what the phrase means.
This cannot be changed - other than how you choose to perceive the action.
This is powerful when it comes to reframing our mindsets into less attachment and suffering.

We've heard the saying that sometimes the best action is taking no action at all...
That is the context of todays daily message - becoming the watcher of our thoughts and deciding when it is time to react and when it is better to do nothing at all.

So many people in life have to face trauma, abuse, and fear. These moments in time seem inexplicable and we are often incapable of explaining why these situations occur and why they occur to specific people.
When faced with these unfortunate events, we can either suppress them which often causes further emotional damage, or face them along with the fears they cause us head on. That is precisely what today's special guest, Charlene Madden, is doing in her own life and for other women around the world.
Charlene knows what it is to sit in the darkness of hopelessness, and she knows that even in the darkness you can rise up out of the ashes and pursue a life of Passion and Purpose. That journey starts by making a decision and embracing the knowledge that You Are Worth It, You Deserve It, and You Can Have It!
Charlene's life was changed when she listened to that voice inside that said "What about you?", and now she asks you the same question..."What about You?"

When we are engaged in speech, are we sharing "meaningful conversations" or are we just talking to hear ourselves talk?
Today, we dive into why this aspect and realization can be so helpful in life as we all work towards our "right view" and "right intentions."

When you are coming into a conversation, what is the motivation for the words you choose? How about on social media? Do you find yourself trying to generate more "coming together" or of a more continuing "divisive nature."
Really pause and reflect on this? What is your natural tendency?
That is the focus of today's daily message.

What little lies are we telling ourselves and others each day? We may think there is no harm in distorting a tiny depiction of truth, but all those little distortions hurt us along our drama path in life towards right view and right intention.
This happens a lot on social media - we think - what is the harm?
That is the focus of today's daily message.
