No, nobody has been banished to a spiritual retreat.
No, we haven’t suddenly become responsible adults. 

We’re just taking a minute to breathe, regroup, and remember that apparently making a podcast every single week is, in fact, a commitment. Who knew?

We’ll be back in two weeks with more questionable revelations, unexpected tangents, intuitive weirdness, and conversations that were absolutely NOT supposed to go there.

Why do old fears keep showing up in new situations? In this episode, Jane and Keri explore how childhood experiences can shape our adult reactions to things like money, clutter, and everyday stress. Through inner child work, neuroplasticity, and plenty of real-life examples, they discuss how to stop living from old survival strategies, retrain your nervous system with new evidence, and approach healing with curiosity instead of shame.

2. What does this feeling believe is about to happen?
3. Whose voice, behavior or fear taught me this?
4. What was true then that’s not true now?
5. What resources do I have now that I didn’t have back then?
6. Not why am I still afraid/avoidant/angry, but rather, what are you afraid of if we look?
7. What were you trying to protect me from?
8. What did you need an adult to do for you back then? And can I do that for you now?
9. What would allow you to watch me handle this instead of feeling responsible for it yourself?
10. What am I assuming this behavior/money number/etc means about me?
11. What does my brain predict will happen when I do this? 
12. What’s the smallest action I can take right now, that belongs to Now Me? What would Now Me do next?

Some spiritual teachings suggest we choose our lives before we arrive here. But if that's true, does that mean we're supposed to be okay with everything that happened to us?
