Author & Writers of the Future Winner – Biography

Lisa Silverthorne writes mythic, emotionally charged fantasy, romance, mystery, and science fiction—stories of lost souls, destiny, devotion, redemption, irreverent humor, the sacred cost of power, and the right to belong. An award-winning storyteller with almost 35 novels and over 150 short stories, she blends vivid prose, elemental world-building, and character-driven intensity into tales that are sometimes irreverent, sometimes heartbreaking, but always mythic. Her stories also blend intimate slow burn with apocalyptic stakes, creating emotionally resonant worlds where love endures even in ruin.

She lives in Las Vegas with a skittish tabby Maine Coon, a brash grey ragdoll, and a feisty tortie Persian kitten.
