Gabe and Dr. Italia discuss her writings that critique social justice from a leftist perspective, her time at Areo Magazine, and much more. Dr. Italia is a writer, editor, and translator based in England. She offers translations from German and Spanish to English, as well as copywriting, editing, and proofreading services. Dr. Italia holds a PhD in English from Cambridge University.

Julie developed an alternative media source long before Trump started labeling news stations “Fake News”. She wanted to create a non-profit media source that wasn’t beholden to greed, power, or the click bait narrative. Along the way, she was challenged by her son to become more tolerant and so she started on a quest to engage in dialogue with people from all over the country. In “Bring It To the Table”, Julie brings her kitchen table to churches, rallies, conventions and sits down one on one with individuals to find out what they believe in and why. Host Alec Sorenson sits down with Jonathan Harmon, the Salt Lake County Chair for the United Utah Party. In June of 2017 the Unity Party was officially certified by the state of Utah. Starting off in 2016, a small group began to talk about what to do about the dysfunctional state of politics in Utah. Some were Democrats and others were Republicans.
