Now for something completely different... the first (and most likely last) time I ruin a song in a "reggaeton" style. You know, these repetitive beats we are used to hear almost everywhere in "modern" music nowadays.

Don't ask me why, but it happened someday that I woke up with inspiration to ruin this classic Castlevania tune in this style. It was really quick to do, as this style is far easier to produce than I'd ever imagine. No wonder 95% of mainstream music does like that: with minimum talent and effort you make something the masses will enjoy and dance shamelessly with. Why struggling and investing high when all you want is money and fame?

But don't get used to this, as that's not Unknown Pseudoartist's usual style and it will never be again.

This song was first submitted to Dwelling of Duels ("en exclusiva") as an alt entry, along with a FF6 more complex pseudo-remix that will be posted here sooner or later too. You can hear all the songs submitted for that August' Free Month here:

It's over 80 songs and over 4 hours of music, so be ready for it! But it's really worth the time to listen, since it's all really good music (all except mine, of course!)

The spanish, latin-style introduction would translate in english as:

"Greetings my friends! Here's Unknown Pseudoartist's new hit: Dance, Simon!"

I have to warn that, just like english, spanish is NOT my native language and although I consulted with a spanish friend of mine I could make some mistakes. I just did it that way to add to the "latino" flavour of reggaeton music. This crap is only meant to bring laughts and fun, so I hope no one feels offended!

Now for something different but not too far away from the usual, I ruined the opening song of a very old anime: Mazinger Z. The music version is the one from the SNES game. It has that 16-bit vibe while faithful to the original, 70s anime style version. But, oh wait... the vocals, what happened there?

Enjoy it ... or suffer it!

Everybody knows Nintendo's popular franchises like Mario, Pokémon, Zelda and lots more. However, in the early 2000s Nintendo also started what could become a potential rival for Final Fantasy: a new RPG with a story and characters full of life, an amazing soundtrack composed by the mighty Motoi Sakuraba who worked in the Tales of, Mario Tennis and so many other masterpieces. Too bad neither the game or the soundtrack adquired the praise it deserves, and too bad Isaac is not in Smash yet! But for all those who played it, Golden Sun holds a special place in our hearts, truly an unforgettable experience.

And then I decided to ruin this song, the boss battle theme from the first installment in the sagas. A tune full of virtuoso solos, odd tempo changes and a tense mood that fits very well its purpose. As usual, lead melody is replaced by a silly voice humming. Isn't that funny?

We already released a rushed remix of Pokémon's Lavender Town past year for Halloween. It was basically a stolen .mid file with all instruments replaced by a foolish voice sample, with almost no edition or anything.

Now, however, a more fleshed out version is out! And not just all vocals are now real, but also I started this one from scratch, doing all the arranging proccess myself despite my poor music skills. The result is as crappy as creepy, but it ended sounding better than at first I'd think it would. I have not the talent but I have the ideas, I guess.

This remix was first done to submit to the VGM monthly competition, Dwelling of Duels. April was "Free Month" and it was full of amazing musicians. Surprisingly my entry got 42/43 in the rank; not the bottom one this time!

We come back to Final Fantasy franchise ruining the iconic "Battle on the big bridge", aka "Gilgamesh theme" from Final Fantasy V, the way you never heard it before: replacing the lead melody with a silly, noisy voice!

Tales of Phantasia was ahead of its time even at late livespam of the SNES. Pretty grahics, pretty story, pretty music... everything so pretty on this game! Unknown Pseudoartist (aka UP) ruined the popular "Fighting of the Spirit" track many years ago and now we go with the normal battles theme, weirdly titled as "Take up the cross". So, take up this crappy remix and share with your friends! (or with your enemies, so you may harm their ears!)

Ready for a new Final Fantasy remix by the infamous Unknown Pseudoartist? This time we'll bring you the Boss Battle (aka Battle 2) from FF3, mixed with the popular Chocobo theme at some point. With extra of slapbass and drums stolen from FF5.

It's worth adding this remix participated in the Final Fantasy III month for the Dwelling of Duels competition. Even funnier: it was included as a "main entry" despite it obviously sounding like crappy parody. Of course, my intention was not to sabbotage the competition but just to bring some fun and laughts with the people there, as the long-time fan of this competition and many of its recurrent participants. I hope I succeded with my intentions. And I hope any of you (if there is anyone out there) following these crappy remixes got some laughts now too :)

I'm not fan of sport games but Super Soccer is special. Unlike modern sport games, this one had good music, both in menu and in game. No mainstream licensed music we all are tired to listen of everywhere, but rocking good tunes, full of sampled guitars and memorable melodies.

And finally the time arrived for this intro track to get a UP (Unknown Pseudoartist; that's a cool acronym, right?) treatment. Enjoy it ... or suffer it!

New single from an upcoming maxi-single to be released next month with mutiple versions of the same song. All versions will be crap, thought, so don't expect anything great.
