In this conversation, I got to interview my friend Canna Sis Sabrina. We talked about all things cannabis, healing, and growing as a woman, beauty, and self-love, and it's one of the most inspiring conversations I had in 2021. 

This week Devon is talking burnout, which comes from being equally tired and excited about the future. There are a lot of layers to mental health, and Devon has discovered that she's not fully capable of accepting that burnout comes from pushing yourself too fast and too hard when all you want to do is heal. 

This week Devon is simultaneously celebrating her accomplishments to this point, announcing her first ever LoudMouthBrownGirl.Com event, and acknowledging that there is a difference between healed, and healing. It's been a long journey over the last four years but she is super excited to be here with you all sharing her experience and her happiness. 

This was a really difficult episode because it was about healing from trauma, and the struggle to beat the stigma down so you can find yourself again. A member of Toronto's GateHouse, Stewart Thompson talks about healing from trauma as a man, and admitting that he doesn't always have all the answers.

In this episode, Devon discusses the realities of realizing that she's been putting herself for so long, that she genuinely forgot her purpose on this earth. With the help of the Afro Cannada BudSista's Devon's focus this week is on readjusting her course, and educating herself on what other people are going through so that she can get out of the continuous feeling of "what about me-ism".

Sometimes when we get overwhelmed by various emotions, it's difficult to function. This week Devon J Hall is focusing on finding ways to battle overwhelming emotions by creating systems of organization, both emotionally and physically, that will hopefully help her relax a lot more. 

It's difficult to express how you feel when you have so many triggers firing off in your brain at one time, creating systems of organization can be huge in helping you to function on a balanced daily basis. Whether that means organizing your space, you'll do what you gotta do to keep feeling better and functioning at a level that you are comfortable with.
