Today I open with a brief rundown again of things to come with what Zay and Harris ultimately have planned for the podcast. I remind folks of the Father & Son segment on Sunday which focuses on US leadership in the world, why its a net positive, how we got here, and the ramifications for that changing. 

But then my boy Dave calls in. And today we take a TRIP (pun intended) down memory lane to 2003 as juniors in college and how we grossly misused a study day and took a wild ride instead. We also discuss the foolish choices we make as youth, and celebrate Dave's sobriety.

In this brief recording I try to take a quick look at what a libertarian is after a brief, albeit ridiculous exchange on Twitter with someone who is clearly just interested in name calling. I used the term "Libertarian-minded" when stating that although I did not like it, Trump needs to send in US Troops to quell unrest in major cities. I lay out, briefly, my reasons for why this must be stopped, and link the movement to China's aggression which my father and I discussed this morning on the podcast published earlier. I referenced an article from the Cato Institute, and while I did not read the entire article I hit on the core tenets and the link is below.

This Sunday I chat with my father. For anyone listening its a good conversation, but I don't have all the tools yet to make things sound perfect. That being said, aside from the abrupt start its easy to listen to and interesting for any individual concerned about the rise of communist China and what that means for our way of life, and how it ties into the Marxist agenda here at home. We discuss, also, how weak we look to the world and how Lincoln, among others, predicted that the fall of America would come from within, rather than from outside.

Today I chat with my best friend and from college Dave. Many years ago Dave had warned that China posed the biggest threat to the supremacy of the United States on the world stage, and he was right. I also wanted to briefly discuss The Great reset-see link below-and get Dave's thoughts. Of course being blessed with a newborn, he has had other things on his mind, but offers some "regular American" insights, which is what this is all about.

Speaking of regular, I am regularly poor so the quality of recording for me is good, but its tough to hear Dave over the phone.
