This month Reese Witherspoon launched a literary competition called LitUp that challenges underrepresented, unpublished writers to submit stories that feature female protagonists for the opportunity to attend a writer's summit and be mentored by professionals in the industry.
A story that has been burning in my heart was barely started when I heard about the competition, so I lit a fire under my ass and got to work. Will I make it by the end of the month? Stay tuned to find out.
