The car was found the next morning abandoned near Kenora, Ontario, driven hundreds of kilometres too far, with a tarp and floor mats missing. Nearly 35 years on, Janice has never been found. She was found stabbed near a Moncton Avenue apartment block, and the one solid clue, a distinctive blue car seen circling the scene, was never traced. Nearly 50 years on, her murder is unsolved.
