I decided to use this image for this episode because there's a shocking lack of illustrations of Susan Rodriguez out there, and of those that exist, there are almost none depicting her with the caramel skin tone she's described as having. I thought that a PoC depicting her in a cosplay was a nice nod to the fact that Susan isn't white, and it's a pretty dope image.
It's amazing that we're into Changes already, after seeing it so far away on the horizon when starting this series, but I am extremely excited about everything that lays in store for RoShawn in this book. She's just not ready.

I've been waiting to use this cool shapeshifting artwork ever since I first saw it. There's something about it that really captures the motion and strangeness of it all, and thank you very much to Vincent Chong for always coming through with gorgeous work.

First off, I must ask that you all bear with us in this episode because RoShawn is using a new mic, and the mic stand wasn't working so she had to kind of balance it in her desk drawer. The result is a far-away, kind of echoing sound quality that I had to heavily edit to even get her audible. Sorry about that!

I can't believe there's only one episode left until the end of the book!

It's time for the next episode, and we're getting into it now, kids! The battle in underway on Demon Reach, and Harry is about to get into it with Shagnasty when the chapters draw to a close.
These chapters are when we get the full appreciation of intellectus and how much of an advantage it is for Harry. Lara manages to get her revenge on Madeline in the most gruesome way possible, and Binder gives Harry some crucial information on a cell phone in a effort to save his own skin. It works.

I feel like I may have used this image way back when we read the chapter where Harry looks at Murphy using his Sight, but I just really love it and I was having a hard time picking an illustration this week. Forgive me if it's a repeat!
These chapters focus on Harry's failed tracking spells and his frustration at not knowing what to do to find Thomas, as well as the interrogation of Binder. Binder refuses to give them anything, but they're able to outsmart him and track him down anyway. Who is he meeting in this mysterious hotel room?

Hello, lovely people! I'm here with next 3 chapters of Turn Coat, in which Shagnasty tells Dresden what he's really after, and we discover that RoShawn's instinct about being worried about Thomas was dead right.
Then there's an unfortunate turn of events in which Luccio hears that Thomas is Harry's brother, and RoShawn feels like Luccio isn't really being cool about it by kind of tricking Harry into thinking it's safe to tell her about it, and then immediately saying, "Thanks for confirming, I will keep your secret if you feel like it." I can see her point.
