Unspoken Benefits of Mediumship Development

This week’s episode is more focused on mediumship because that’s where my mind has been with The Initiation starting on May 19th for the ninth round. A lot of people think that there needs to be like a signier sign, or there needs to be a certain prerequisite to be able to go into mediumship development. And I've been saying this for years, the only prerequisite to mediumship is a life well lived. The more you live your life, the more you get to be of service to the world of spirit. You will be able to help such a diverse set of people who are going through experiences like you have walked. So I don't think that mediumship development is only accessible to the chosen few.

There are so many personal development and personal growth reasons why mediumship development is for everyone. I haven’t talked about these reasons in this context before, so I am going to share the ways that mediumship development benefits you outside of the actual skills that you learn to communicate with loved ones in Spirit in readings.

Mediumship often is a pathway for people to find a deeper sense of their own purpose

People go on to other modalities when they discover new parts of themselves in development

Discovering one of the most natural connections we have, to the spirit world

We other ourselves and tell ourselves it is only accessible to a select few people

Connecting to spirit allows you to know yourself like never before

We focus so much on others that we don’t think about our own needs

The only way to discern spirit around you is to know yourself and your energy

You start to love yourself when you understand that you’re a spirit

This self realization benefits you in all areas of life including relationships and careers

The mediumship development journey is a personal healing journey

Being able to transform energy into healing information for others requires healing

I had to heal my stage fright and wounds around worthiness to receive from spirit

We have to reconcile our past to get onto a path of self-acceptance and confidence

I never considered myself unworthy of relationships or anything before the mediumship path

Thinking I wasn’t pure enough to talk to the divine was an aha moment for me

Each of us has different resistances, anxieties and fears to walk through

Perfectionism or not having language to communicate the insights you receive may come up

There are people who don’t want to heal, but it’s unavoidable on the development path

You get to experience pockets of peace and divine love

I don’t believe meditation is the only way, but it does require slowing down to sense and listen

You never have the same type of exchange with other beings when you learn to listen intently

In the process of slowing down to sense spirit, you experience peace and divine love

We had a seance with Winter Brooke in the Collective for 90 minutes

The 90 minutes we spent sitting with spirit was replenishing for my own spirit

Whether you sit for 10 minutes a day or week, it will benefit you in all areas of life

Once you connect with the world of spirit, you start to see the magic of life all around you

You start to see the interconnectedness of it all through synchronicity and experiences

It starts with clocks and signs and builds to receiving messages without words in the heart

We wait for words and often they speak through nature and the world around us

You start to live authentically and on purpose instead of people pleasing

Mediumship development teaches you about your energy, boundaries and capacity

This path gave me a new sense of authentic living that feels freeing instead of looking cool

I believe living on purpose means finding joy in the human experience

Everyone I know who enters the mediumship space leaves with their own sense of purpose

Our purpose can be outside of work and earning money despite how society operates

I want to give a shout out to my bestie’s dad Bart in Malibu for being such a big fan

Developing new interpersonal and communication skills for personal and professional growth

Some people are more interested in fame that won’t receive the benefits of personal growth

The world of spirit will put you to work whether it is in readings or everyday life

I wouldn’t have been able to trust and go full-time in mediumship without doing healing

By declaring you work for spirit, you get to become an ally for the spirit world and humanity

To heal my people pleasing, I declared that I work for spirit instead of focusing on the sitter

I now am centered and am ready to work for both realms, humanity and spirit

I care about people and humanity, but not at the expense of my own energy and boundaries

I fell back in love with humanity at the Sacred Spirit Retreat

Because of this, and mediumship development, I see the good in the world despite the bad

These are just a few of the perks of development that have nothing to do with readings

The Initiation has helped hundreds of people find their path, community and spiritual connection
