This month in the Spirit School Collective, we’re honouring the shadow. In this episode, I sit down with one of my favourite people, Gracie Navarro of Graceful Healing. Gracie is a spiritual guide, medium, healer and longtime student of mine. She shares what it was like to grow up in the Jehovah’s Witness faith, believing all spirit was bad and that she would never be worthy of God’s love.

This is a tender, honest conversation about finding your way back to your own truth without disrespecting the people you love. Gracie shares how she rebuilt her relationship with Creator on her own terms. She also tells some breathtaking stories of angelic intervention, from a truck rolling down a hill to an operating room full of angels.

After three years of keeping this exciting secret, I'm finally able to share the news. Squamish Medium, my TV show, is premiering September 2 in Cree (Plains) on APTN Languages, and September 14 in English on APTN.

In this episode I go back to the beginning: mediumship readings at my kitchen table in 2013, launching this podcast in 2018, opening my in person school in 2023, and everything that led to two Indigenous women approaching me 'out of nowhere' with an idea for a TV show.

Eileen Himel came back into my life this year through a lot of synchronicity and divine orchestration. She works with the nonspeaking autistic community using letter boards, and when the Telepathy Tapes came out I became obsessed. So we did an exchange. She got some mentorship, I got to pick her brain. And then I asked if I could record it.

Maxine Friend has been working internationally as a psychic channel medium and mentor for over 18 years. I have been hearing her name since my very first year of practice in 2013. Part four of the chakra and mediumship series and the one I have been sitting with the longest.

The heart is the bridge chakra. Everything you did in root, sacral, and solar plexus has to integrate here before it can become service. In this video I share what happened to my mediumship in 2020 when I experienced real grief for the first time and could not do readings for months. I also talk about why ethics and integrity are not the same thing and why both of them live here in the heart.

If you work with people in grief, if you are a developing medium, or if you have ever felt fractured between what you know to be right and what you are actually doing, this one is for you.

I am sharing the origin story of how I became a medium and it starts with a latchkey kid coming home from school in the 1990s, turning on the TV, and watching Sylvia Browne on Montel Williams for the very first time.

Sylvia Browne was my unofficial theology growing up. I had no religion, no framework, just her on Montel every Wednesday. In this episode I talk about what she meant to me as a teenager, the letter to the universe exercise from The Other Side and Back that genuinely changed my life, and what it felt like to reconnect with her clips during the pandemic and see everything through a completely different lens.

If you knew who surrounded you, you would never be afraid. In this episode I unpack what that actually means.

I share how I developed my faith in spirit guides, the moment that faith completely shattered, and what restored it in the span of thirty seconds through undeniable experiences that make this path worth it all.

I talk about the different realms of unseen helpers, guides, ancestors, inspirers, and the God realm I am still building toward, and what happened at my retreat this year when my guides asked me to introduce them to the room and assured me magic.

I also share the story of Leonard George of Tsleil-Waututh Nation, an elder who showed up on the edge of my bed at my first retreat in 2023 with two messages that changed the direction of my work entirely.

The Creator Never Puts a Dream in Your Heart You Cannot Fulfill

For the first time in as long as I can remember, I do not have a dream I am chasing. So I went looking backward instead of forward.

In this episode I trace my actual path. My first dream of becoming a teacher at seventeen. The mentors who saw something in me I could not see in myself. My years in motorsports. The decade at the First Nations Health Authority where I became a mother, a medium, and a confident woman all at once. The keynote I recently gave to a youth summit in Squamish. And what it felt like to realize, twenty six years later, that my original dream had already come true.

I close with a poem from The Wishing Bone Cycle, a Swampy Cree creation story I have come to love.
