Until Dawn Movie Review - Based on the hit Playstation game, Until Dawn attempts to do something different. Why even call it Until Dawn then? Your guess is as good as mine. Instead of utilizing the butterfly effect idea and the interesting twist villain, the movie opts for a more formulaic and downright puzzling story. The live, die, repeat premise could have worked if the script even attempted to do something creative with it. Instead, it's just a throng of tropes with no clear direction. Stick to the game.
