What a journey it has been! We have now reached 200 days in our journey of 365 days of life transformation by God's word! Thank you for following along. To commemorate this milestone, we present to you a special episode today: Prayers, Meditation and Thanksgiving. This is like the previous "Praying from the Psalms" episode only that its a psalm mix this time, not just one chapter. The theme of our prayers is centred on dedicating ourselves to God afresh and thanking him for the journey thus far. Prepare to be blessed, pray along and participate. Happy 200th day anniversary!

' “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” '

God desires that we do not just follow him, but that we follow him with our all and lay our lives at the altar to him as living sacrifices (Romans 12:1) He does not want us to be caught up in the middle like some kings Of Israel and Judah. They were willing to follow God but still retain the high places used for idol worship.

At different times in our lives, we've made certain promises to God so that these promises would serve as "catalysts" for God to bring on our requests in time.

June 09, 2023 The Nabal Syndrome (Based on the story of Nabal and David)

"One of the servants told Abigail, Nabal’s wife, “David sent messengers from the wilderness to give our master his greetings, but he hurled insults at them. 15 Yet these men were very good to us. They did not mistreat us, and the whole time we were out in the fields near them nothing was missing. 16 Night and day they were a wall around us the whole time we were herding our sheep near them. 17 Now think it over and see what you can do, because disaster is hanging over our master and his whole household. He is such a wicked man that no one can talk to him.” (1 Samuel 25:14-17)
The Nabal syndrome is named after Nabal who was hostile to David and everyone around him in the Bible. It is a condition where a person is sucked up into their own world or achievements such that no one can talk to them or tell them the truth directly, especially when they are wrong. It can lead to the end of marriages, success, achievements and even a person’s life.
It is a fatal syndrome that will ultimately destroy the person who bears it, just like it did to Nabal himself. To find out more about this syndrome and how to avoid it, stick with me till the end of this episode.
