Throughout the episode, Omaya talks about her struggles with mental health over the past 10 years and how that along with her love for journalism inspired her to launch AWARE AE.

Mental health is a topic of extreme importance and one that I am really passionate about because I have always struggled with it and on this episode, Latifa and I shared some of our personal experiences and struggles.

On this episode of Up Next, I am joined by Abdalla Al Hourani aka @sneakersbil3arabi on IG. 
Throughout the episode, we talk about how he turned his passion for collecting sneakers into a growing platform on Instagram where he reviews new sneakers and discusses news related to the sneaker culture. 
Abdalla only started his page 2 months ago and it is already growing at a very high rate so throughout the episode he discusses all the challenges he faced, mistakes he made, his brainstorming process, what to avoid as a new creator, and much more. All of which is extremely beneficial and time-sensitive to anyone that is thinking of launching a platform on social media.
 Another thing that is very interesting about his content is that it is fully in Arabic, and to take words out of his mouth, this is to help bring more Arabic presence into the sneaker culture because it is not as developed here in the UAE and the Middle East when compared to other regions.

BluePhin is a smart robot that can collect floating waste in commercial water bodies. It is one of the world’s most technologically advanced waste management solutions. It collects plastic, algae, and other debris to tackle marine pollution in lakes, ponds, canals, marinas, ports, and coastlines.
Throughout the episode, Simran shares the inspiration behind her startup, some of the challenges she faced, and the mistakes she made.
She also shares her journey with social entrepreneurship and how she was able to build BluePhin from the ground up in just 2 years.

Very few people can say that they published their first book at the age of 20 and this episode of "Up Next" is really special because I am joined by one of them. My guest on this episode is none other than Ban Lahham, the author of "Enigma".

Edutech is a social startup in the field of educational consulting that aims to provide everyone in the Middle East and Northern Africa with equal access to higher education regardless of gender and nationality.
A huge part of their core mission is reaching out to bright disadvantaged students and helping them apply to top universities across the world and they also help them apply for scholarships/financial aid, without making the students pay for anything along the process in many cases.

On today’s episode of Up Next, I am joined by Alia Al Mansoori, the UAE’s youngest scientist and a future astronaut. 

Growing up Alia was always fascinated with space and much of that was inspired by her love for Star Wars. She always dreamt of exploring space and discovering if there is life outside our planet. In 2017, Alia took the first step towards making that dream a reality when she won the Genes in Space competition when she was just 15 years old!!!

Alia was never a genius child that was gifted with the knowledge of biological sciences at a young age, but she is a dreamer and most importantly she is determined. Alia entered the competition with minimal knowledge of Biology and took it upon herself to learn scientific literature with the help of her high school biology teacher. 

A few months later Alia had her winning experiment sent to the International Space Station on a SpaceX shuttle where the experiment was conducted by the astronauts on the ISS. 

The 18-year-old dreams of becoming not only the First Emarati women on Mars but to be the First HUMAN on the red planet and is working relentlessly to achieve this dream.

Vent is quite a unique and innovative fashion brand as they offer all of their designs in various sizes ranging from XS to 4 XL, they believe that people should not be limited to the typical sizes set by mainstream brands many people struggle to find on-trend/fashionable designs in their size. Yasmina also shares the inspiration behind launching Vent, how she built it from the ground up while giving several tips for people interested in pursuing something similar.

On Today’s episode of Up Next, I am joined by 2x cross fit games athlete and performance coach Reece Mitchell. Reece was the 3rd fittest teen in the world in 2017 and he is now the 4th fittest teen in the world, he has also just joined Dubai based gym InnerFight as a cross-fit and performance coach, oh and did I mention that he recently turned 18!!. 

Throughout the episode, Reece shares how he went from joining a cross-fit gym by mistake as a 13-year-old, trying to lose weight, only to be on the podium of the cross fit games while representing Great Britain 2 yours later. He also explains how young and upcoming athletes can take their cross-fit passion to the next level amongst other things.
