Women’s American football is alive and well in Milan Italy. The gridiron is a home and refuge for girls and women alike. From flag to tackle, women are competing at the highest level and the NFL is taking notice. Women’s flag football was on the stage of the World Games 2022 in Alabama.
Nausicaa Dell’Orto joins host Tommi A. Vincent to share her journey of tackling her dream of founding the first-ever all-female tackle football league. As captain and tight end of the championship-winning Italian National Team, as well as Sirene Milano, Nausicaa has helped inspire the expansion of the sport throughout Europe. Her story is a testimony of the resiliency and power of the woman.
