Up to 1,000 people are now using Ennis Library on its busiest days.

Since the new DeValera Library officially opened on Causeway Link last November, membership and book issues have both doubled.

Clare's County Librarian has pointed to a surge in presentations from third level students and is crediting the enhanced digital resources, and study spaces available.

Helen Walsh says their facility is regularly operating at max capacity.
