Pope Francis has been in hospital for the past week, for treatment of a respiratory infection, where his clinical condition is said to be still ‘complex’.
The 88-year-old pontiff has been in hospital in Rome since last Friday.
It's revealed he has shown early signs of pneumonia in both lungs.
Alan Morrissey spoke about this earlier with Colm Flynn.
