August 08, 2016DA open to coalition talks with EFFMunicipalities have 14 days in which to formulate new councils following last week's Local Government Elections. The ANC won 53-point-nine-one per cent of the national vote, eight per cent down from 2011. The DA is second with over 26 per cent and the EFF with over eight per cent. Political parties are now discussing possible coalitions as there's no outright winner in some municipalities and some of the big metros.
