God had given multiple opportunities and warnings to Pharaoh to save himself from the destruction of the first borns throughout Egypt; he did not listened. Now it was time for God to execute judgement and institute the feast of the Passover which symbolized non other than the sacrifice that Jesus was to make for humanity. The Israelites turned to God for deliverance and the story of Moses unfolds. From his early childhood Moses was instructed in the ways of God, and as an adult, those teachings grew strong in his heart to the point of rejecting the throne itself for a life in pro of his people.
