United States Air Force Msgt. John Chapman would find himself alone and surrounded by enemy fighters on a mountain in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom.  He fought on alone and was credited with saving the lives of those who were attempting to rescue him.   He is an American hero who was awarded the US Medal of Honor, and  I am honored to tell you his story.
