US Air Force SSgt Pitsenbarger was an elite Air Force Pararescueman who selflessly served in the Vietnam War.  He chose to forgo evacuation and remained behind to aid the embattled soldiers of the US Army 1st Infantry Division while surrounded by a larger enemy force.   He was credited with saving many men and was awarded the US Medal of Honor, and I'm honored to tell you his story.
