The United States and Israel have launched attacks against Iran, pushing the Middle East into a renewed military confrontation. The Pentagon says strikes will last multiple days and U.S. President Donald Trump is warning that American lives may be lost. Iran has retaliated with strikes on Israel, and says U.S. bases are legitimate targets.
