The US special envoy to Afghanistan, Zalmay Khalilzad, says the Taliban has agreed to a "reset" of the ceasefire deal reached with the US in February, which could mean a reduction of violence in the country as the Afghan government and the Taliban negotiate a long term peace agreement in Qatar.
