So Josh is back with us in the recording area and it produced a doozie of a series of episodes. When I say a doozie, we originally set out to record a single 90 minute episode covering a wide range of topics but it turned into almost seven hours of raw recorded audio. It's Holy Week 2022 - and as such we are taking a short detour on our normally scheduled program. We are pushing back our reunion of Josh by a week to talk about what Paul has been thinking this Holy week and why Maundy Thursday is special.

If you have been keeping up with the news in any capacity (apparently Aaron hasn't) then you will probably have seen all the kerfuffle surrounding a recent law that the media has called the don't say gay bill...if only they would've read it to know what is actually in it....

This week we talk about the things that we fill our minds with - and the fact that what a person fills their mind with when they are young stays with them and impacts them as they get older. Some of the things we fill our mind with are music/movies/tv shows but there are other things as well. What do you fill your mind with?

Let's continue to help Aaron as he navigates a few things in life. This week Aaron had a question about a conversation he had with a friend - are we in America overworked compared to the rest of the world? Our initial gut reaction is to say "YES - WE GLORIFY WORK" but is that reality? Do the stats line up with that - and if they do or do not - are there other factors that impact our work besides just raw numbers? How does humanity factor into that all?

This week Aaron brought up the topic of why he thinks the church is dying. Beyond population in general going down - there are some things going on - from divergence of the church to culture, to different ideas of what a service looks like, to what the next generation likes. There is more - so lets look at some of those items.
