Look the situation on Ukraine is changing rapidly - too fast for us to do anything about in a podcast. That being said - there are things that are going on (overall big strategy things) that we can think about and learn about from the situation.

This week we continue to look at the lies that Christians believe. Some of these lies include the thought that once you become a Christian, life has become perfect and also that God never gives you more than you can handle (while this may be true in spiritual truths - not necessarily in things happening physically to a person). What else do we as Christians believe that may not be true?

This week Paul and Aaron talk about the lies that Christians believe - dealing with four of the lies that tend to be very common in the Christian circles. This week we cover two of them. We start off talking about the prosperity gospel and how it is like the lottery - a tax on the poor. Tangent: do you know how much more likely you are to get killed by a shark than to win the lottery?

After this we talk about the concept that the amount that God loves or punishes you is based directly upon the actions that you have taken recently.

This week Aaron had a question - do we tolerate too much stuff going on in society or not enough? We take a look at some of this and ultimate come to the same conclusion - but what is that?

2022 has gotten off to a wild start. Joe Biden talking disrespectfully to a journalist, Spotify is under fire to put more pressure on Joe Rogan over what some deem to be misinformation. There is a convoy up in Canada being joined in by others in other countries, and we haven't even started fully into 2022. What a year we have coming up!

And we continue our conversation on living in the grey. In this second part of our conversation, we focus heavily on the morality of the actions we take and are the results or the intention behind the actions the thing that makes the something good or bad?

Paul had a question for Aaron today - can you live in the grey - or as some people put it - in the middle. When things are ambiguous morally or ethically what do you do and how do you live with it and how comfortable can you be with/in it? We start the conversation this week and will continue it next week.

This week Josh returns - from a super secret remote quarantine location due to him being exposed to Covid. We called him up as myself and Aaron were talking about the recent Jack Murphy controversy in the conservative circle. While we were talking about this we started talking about what it means to be a man in 2022 in the United States. As a quick refresher - Josh is the only one of the three of us that is married so we wanted to have him on to give his perspective on things as well. The discussion was a good one - and hopefully this will not be the last time Josh is with us in 2022.

Well 2022 always gets off to an interesting start for us. Aaron got Covid right before the new year, and then made a trip to PA after he finished getting out of quarantine. Paul - thankfully - didn't catch the coof and just had a boring start to the year. That being said - the two re-connect after having not seen each other for about a month and get started on their discussions to 2022.
