Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue DOESN'T include something died in for wedding traditions. A listener's mom passed away in her own wedding dress and now the listener wants to wear it for hers, but everyone is creeped out. Should she go ahead with it, and listen for the surprise guest appearance. That's quite the confession but Cache Valley Secrets continue with things people think are great, but aren't. One listener earns quite the ire of McCall for this.
Story #1 - Guy circled in the police parking lot before being arrested for drunk driving
Story #2 - Guy was busted for drunk driving on the highway...on a lawnmower
Story #3 - Guy who robbed the same 7/11 four times over the summer
Somehow an honest game turns into McCall, seemingly, trying to manifest AJ a stalker. Why were Millennials collectively afraid of so many things that were NEVER threats? It was rough being McCall, because apparently it was always a time to fight. Our very own Jenn announced she's expecting kid number two, but told AJ & McCall those stories where kids do something creepy never happens. They don't buy it and the stories fly in for the Debate At 8. Who ACTUALLY enjoys the sounds of birds chirping?
Congratulations to our very own Jenn who is expecting baby number 2! However, she told AJ & McCall those stories of kids doing something creepy never happens. Now, AJ & McCall are pretty positive they've heard more than their fair share of stories of kids doing something creepy, and oh do the stories come in. Also, AJ is apparently surrounded by the stories of creepy happenings.
Story #1 - Roommates get in an argument over not flushing that ends in a plunger fight
Story #2 - Trying to avoid a chipmunk, one driver swerves and crashes into a brick building
Story #3 - A dad hires a hit man to knock himself off to give his son the life insurance and the hit is botched
AJ & McCall had already decided they were done with fair rides, now McCall is COMPLETELY done with fairs. Where would you even put an award you got every time you worked out? mcCall is one of those people who wants a birthday month, but would she take a whole year? Who deserved to have the cops called on them more, AJ or Ajay. McCall decides before the close calls come from listeners, including a foolproof tip for getting out of trouble. AJ is convinced he can get McCall to admit, for Halloween, to admit ranch isn't the best option.
It's the candy and ticket creeper versus the accidental home invader! After AJ and Ajay had their awkward off where they CLEARLY should have had the cops called, McCall deserves most to have the 5-O rung. However, the 'close calls' with the law stories keep coming, including a tip for a guaranteed way to get out of a ticket. NOT THAT WE CONDONE THAT!
Story #1 - Man told to work harder stabs a coworker with a pen in response
Story #2 - Drunk woman crashes going to pick up her husband who had his own drunk crash
Story #3 - Teen escapes the cops, calls 911 to brag, gets tracked down because of it
It's very important for Sunday to be the LAST day of the week so you can have two days off. Ajay is back subbing in and wants to hit one of the oldest actors in the face. AJ is 79% no one is afraid of the dark, just uncomfortable with the wrong kind of dark. Apparently, working in radio is just creepy stories. Did AJ's curse finally kick in? Regardless, AJ's girlfriend handled a dead vehicle better than him. Are you supposed to tip a tow truck driver for the Debate At 8? Somehow the question becomes who should be arrested more, AJ or Ajay?
Did AJ's curse kick in yesterday. He thinks it did but Ajay isn't going to let him get off thinking it just missed its target. How would you handle a dead car at a busy intersection? AJ isn't tough and is thankful for the kindness of strangers. Speaking of which, do you tip a two truck driver? A serious of possibly awkward questions were raised centered around the tow truck driver's Venmo.
