The International Olympic Committee says it’s moving towards a complete ban on transgender women in female categories, ending years of dithering and delay.

Initial findings from a science-based review indicate that athletes born male retain obvious physical advantages, even after treatments to reduce testosterone levels - and so, the ban will be in place before the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
