So after the previous chairman decided to enforce an unwritten rule to invalidate all votes that came from members of the Boston Tea Party who joined during the convention, our candidates lost. (Even though they all had enough votes to win by a landslide.) And a final seat on the committee is vacant. In an effort to prevent a member of the Resource Based Economy Caucus from taking this seat, the National Committee has simply decided not to have an election for the open seat. (Despite the fact that I have voiced an interest, which according to party policy means an election must be held.) The people involved with this are attempting to block our caucus having any voice in the party. Today on the show I am going to talk about what the point of the Resource Based Economy Caucus is. And ask for your help. Thankfully even a few Free Market Libertarians have decided that this behavior is unethical and have started a petition to overturn this action by the committee. If you are a member of the United States Zeitgeist Movement, please join the Boston Tea Party and support us! It will cost you nothing, and you will not be spammed for joining.
