Though there isn't much said about the group of wise men who followed the star to visit the Christ Child, we can learn a lot about their hearts by examining their journey.

Do you share the same heart as the Wise Men? Are you seeking the Lord, serving Him, and sensitive to Him?

In the book of Matthew we see a group of people who had little faith and suffered from unbelief. They could not believe that the man before them was Jesus, the carpenter's Son, who they remembered watching grow up. They doubted and let their unbelief become a barrier to the mighty works that Jesus could have done there.

Are you placing a barrier in your life that is preventing God's Mighty Works in your life? Are you facing a situation where your unbelief is a stumbling block? God has given us free will; unbelief is a barrier that we place ourselves.

This morning Bro. Mike Meade shows us some traits of unbelief that will prevent you from witnessing the Mighty Works God has planned.

Hannah was a prime example of Honoring God. She made a promise to God, and prayed a very specific prayer for a son. God answered her prayer, and she proceeded to honor God with her life.

Are you honoring God the way you should be? He's worthy, and Holy, regardless of whether or not you give Him the honor He deserves.

Live your life in such a way to Honor God!

Are you facing a decision in your life today, seeking guidance on what to do and where to turn? David sought direction from God before entering into battle. Paul sought the direction of God before traveling to preach the Gospel. These men were Guided by God.

What about you? What decision are you facing? Are you seeking God's Will in the matter? Maybe it's about a major purchase, or a job, or about who to marry, or about His Will for your life. Regardless of the decision you face, let yourself be Guided by God...

Tonight we had a visiting preacher, Bro. Daniel Church from North Carolina, with us for our evening services. Bro. Daniel lead us to examine John the Baptist at a time when things weren't going well for him. He thought he had been forgotten about and left to die and rot in a prison. But the Bible tells us to not let our hearts be troubled.

Sometimes it's hard to understand what's going on in your life. There are times when we just can't believe what's going on.

Is there something going on in your life tonight that you're having a hard time believing? Take comfort in knowing that no matter what you're going through God hasn't forgotten about you. You may have a hard time understanding what's going on. But the Lord knows. He always knows.

As we enter into Thanksgiving week, many people are excited and looking forward to it. But there are others who dread it. Maybe they've had a bad year. Maybe they don't feel like they have much to be thankful for this year.

But regardless of your circumstance, and regardless of what you've gone through this year, you still have God's Grace, and even if that's all you've got, then you have enough.

In Psalm 107 we see several groups of people who were in a predicament. They needed help, they probably felt like they didn't have much to be thankful for. But the scripture says to give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good.

Are you in a situation this year where you feel like you have nothing to be thankful for? Have you had a difficult year? Look to the Lord, give thanks, and give Gratitude for His Grace; remember what He's done for you...
