As we near closer and closer to Christmas our focus becomes shopping, gifts, decorating, plans, and the hustle and bustle of the season. We get so caught up with the events of Christmas that we tend to lose focus on the person of Christmas.

In the book of Luke, the angel told the shepherds that he brought good tidings of great joy which shall be to all people. The greatest gift we ever received at Christmas was The Wonderful Gift of Joy.

As we come out of Thanksgiving and turn our attention to Christmas, gratitude and thankfulness are at the forefront of our minds. We thank God for the many blessings in our lives. But the Bible talks about there being different levels of blessings. The increase of blessings are determined by your dedication and willingness to serving God.

Are you living on bag level blessings, barrel level blessings, basket level blessings, or even barn level blessings? This morning Pastor Justin explains what these different levels are about, and also how you can move from bag levels, to barn levels.

We at Valley View are gearing up for an amazing Christmas Drama next Sunday (you can get more information about the program here on our website). The program will be a mix of a dramatic play and music / singing. Today, many of our church members spent all day at the church practicing and preparing for next Sunday's performance. As a result, tonight Pastor Justin preached a shortened message that lead into a night of singing and worshiping Him.

One of the goals of every believer should be for us to find true intimacy with God. Our relationship with Him needs to be closer and tighter than any physical relationship in our life! It's the most important relationship in your life; treat it that way!

The Lord has been moving in a mighty, mighty way at Valley View over the last few weeks and months. We have had almost 40 saved, and countless others rededicate their lives. As a result, we have a lot of new Christians looking for guidance as they begin the walk of a Christian.

As we enter into Thanksgiving week, it's a perfect time to stop and reflect on the many blessings that God has poured out in our lives. This morning Pastor Justin examines the Thanksgiving theme by showing us the God is More Than I Expected, and More Than I Deserve.

We serve a God of abundance and surplus, a God of Grace, who offers abundant life. He does so much more than the bare minimum. He's an over-achiever and doesn't just meet the bar. He goes so far over and above what we expect, and especially what we deserve, that it isn't even comparable.

Take some time this week to stop, and worship God, thanking Him for being more than we expect, and so much more than we deserve.
