Valley View Baptist Church

Tonight, in a continuation of this morning's sermon, we take a look at God's response to Moses's request for His Presence and His Glory.

Not only did Moses's gain an invitation to God's Presence but he also gained insight into knowing what He is doing.

When it comes to knowing God, there are several different types of people. But the only way to know God personally is to have an Unending Pursuit of His Presence.

Moses begged God that he might see His Glory. And God granted that request. But it was only because Moses relentlessly pursued Him.

Start your new year by pursuing after God.

NOTE: This sermon was cut short due to a medical emergency in our church and will be resumed at a later service.

This morning as we gather with family and celebrate Christmas, we also gather together at the church house to celebrate the Savior! What better place to celebrate His birth than in God's house?

Jesus is many things to many people. But on Christmas morning, He is the Light of the World! This morning Pastor Justin shows us the light...

Beginning with the book of Genesis, the lamb has been a very important animal throughout the Bible. The lamb clothed Adam and Eve after they had sinned. The lamb became the chosen sacrifice from Abel for God. The blood of the lamb protected the Israelites in the Passover. The lamb saved Isaac from sacrifice. Many years later, The Lamb was born to save us all from our sins.

Christmas is a time to celebrate His birth. It's a time to reflect on the fact that He came to Earth and was born to die a substitutionary death.

This morning we see that The Lamb was prophesied, was born, and is coming again.

As we near closer and closer to Christmas our focus becomes shopping, gifts, decorating, plans, and the hustle and bustle of the season. We get so caught up with the events of Christmas that we tend to lose focus on the person of Christmas.

In the book of Luke, the angel told the shepherds that he brought good tidings of great joy which shall be to all people. The greatest gift we ever received at Christmas was The Wonderful Gift of Joy.
