Valley View Baptist Church

What kind of world would it be if we all approached our daily lives with the same unction as the Pastor does each time he steps behind the pulpit? What if we begged God to anoint us with His touch each time we clocked into work, or each time we woke up. No matter what your realm of influence is, you ought to desire the touch of God in your life!

Tonight Pastor Justin shows us what it means when we cry out Lord, I Want Your Touch.

There are times in your life when you will face things and situations that seem insurmountable. You will feel as though you can't possibly carry the burden alone (and you'll be right). You'll feel beat down, and maybe think that God doesn't even hear your prayers. In those times, how do you bear the unbearable burden?

In Moses's time, they had the altar of incense inside the tabernacle. They offered up sacrifices as offerings and incenses as prayers. They lit the incense and kept it burning day and night. When they were facing difficult times, they essentially prayed without ceasing!

We may not be under the Old Testament covenant any more, but the same principles that helped them pray through the difficult times can help us through our own.

Tonight Dr. Joe Arthur preached a heart stirring message on salvation. It's a message for the unsaved, but also for the saved. It will make you realize and remember the Grace of your own salvation. But it will also convict you of your sin, and show you what you're missing out on!

Tonight Dr. Joe Arthur kicked off our Winter Revival with a stirring message on God's provisions, His protection, power, and presence.

The God that we serve is the same God today as He was in the times of Moses. And for Moses, He told him that the Past is a Promise.

The same God who provided for us, protected us, showed us His power, and His presence in 2016 is the very same God we worship in 2017! As we enter into the New Year, remember that the Past is a Promise!

On Monday and Tuesday we will be hosting a Winter Revival here at Valley View. The Devil would like nothing better than to get his hand in that revival, keep you from coming, and become an enemy of revival.

But the devil isn't the only enemy we face this week. He's a third party enemy. But we face other enemies to personal revival. Tonight, Pastor Justin tells us what some of them are, and shows us how to battle them.

Are you facing a difficult decision in your life? Maybe your're in a spiritual rut and need a personal revival. Perhaps you're looking for an answer to a specific prayer. Are you looking for guidance and direction? The Bible gives us a special weapon when we face a spiritual battle; fasting.

This morning Pastor Justin shows us what Biblical fasting is all about and how we can use that secret weapon in our lives.

This morning he asks us to consider within your own life, between you and the Lord. to fast for your own personal reasons.
