There are times in your life when you will face things and situations that seem insurmountable. You will feel as though you can't possibly carry the burden alone (and you'll be right). You'll feel beat down, and maybe think that God doesn't even hear your prayers. In those times, how do you bear the unbearable burden?

In Moses's time, they had the altar of incense inside the tabernacle. They offered up sacrifices as offerings and incenses as prayers. They lit the incense and kept it burning day and night. When they were facing difficult times, they essentially prayed without ceasing!

We may not be under the Old Testament covenant any more, but the same principles that helped them pray through the difficult times can help us through our own.

What kind of world would it be if we all approached our daily lives with the same unction as the Pastor does each time he steps behind the pulpit? What if we begged God to anoint us with His touch each time we clocked into work, or each time we woke up. No matter what your realm of influence is, you ought to desire the touch of God in your life!
