Vanetics with Van of Urantia and Niánn Emerson Chase

The Great Commission to bring epochal revelation to the world has always been challenging on this world due to the fallen spiritual state of the planet since the Lucifer Rebellion approximately 200,000 years ago.  Thousands have given their lives and even died trying to share the 4th Epochal Revelation – the bestowal of Jesus as the Son of God and the Son of Man.  And many mistakes were often made in how it was done, as Van of Urantia shares in this episode – with the Crusades, with the Native Americans, and with indigenous peoples around the world.

How do missionaries of the 5th Epochal Revelation today share the expanded message of “One God, One Planetary Family” and the cosmic Christ Michael - the Creator Son who bestowed as Jesus to show the Fatherhood of God and the brotherhood and sisterhood of humankind to the world?  This is the charge of the Destiny Reservists today and it is a great commission.  As Van of Urantia shares, you can’t force truth on anyone.  You can only speak with the authority of love and truth that you live by example.

From a teaching from The URANTIA Book, Paper 180, Section 4 - The Promised Helper

The Spirit of Truth was a gift bestowed after Jesus Christ Michael’s resurrection to help us to discern truth from falsehood and good from evil.  It is a spiritual force that works within the heart and convicts us of our righteous beliefs.  In order to receive the Spirit of Truth, we must identify first as ascending sons and daughters of God before any other identity.

In this teaching Niánn points out the importance of the Spirit of Truth for good leadership, as it enables us to be more aware of the individual before us, and to seek first to understand rather than be understood.  A truly righteous leader must be love-dominated.  This love grasps the ever-changing and enlarging concepts of the highest cosmic good of the individual who is loved.

“Truth doesn’t stay stuck,” Niánn says, “It’s absolute at a level, but it needs to be dynamic for every generation and it needs to help us expand and unfold in our realization of truth.”

The Ancients of Days, known as divine judges, are mentioned in both The Bible and The URANTIA Book.  In this teaching God’s law is juxtaposed with man’s law.  Our earthly judges often abide by the letter of the law which causes many misjudgments and often common sense is not present in our judicial system.

Good judgment is discernment and comes from a place of being protective, caring and loving; qualities reflective of The Universal Father.

Van of Urantia shares how Divine Administration trains people to have discernment and righteous judgement. The judicial system should start in our hearts with our relationships, which is why isolation is detrimental for our spiritual development.

“If you want the honor one day of being a judge in God’s judicial system, be a friend.” ~ Van of Urantia

All true justice is based on God’s love.  Based on a teaching from The URANTIA Book titled “God’s Relation To A Local Universe”, this podcast focuses on ethics in leadership.  Divine pattern dictates that any father, teacher, governor, president, pastor, CEO, etc. - anyone in any type of leadership position - should be looking out for the welfare of all under their watchcare.  The Universal Father sets the pattern by delegating everything He can to the responsibility of others for their destiny actualization into purposeful and creative expression.  This is the framework of Divine Administration throughout the Grand Universe.

We are living in the times of the Adjudication of the Bright & Morning Star vs. Lucifer, also known as the time of Tribulation, the Correcting time, and the Times of the Purification. The intensity of the times reflects the intensity of the messages found in the Cosmic Family Volumes. They can be confrontational for people who are going against the ways of God.

The fallen forces of this world are still trying to deceive the minds of this world. So many of those minds are still influenced by the false Great American Dream. Van wrote the song, The Great American Dream

The intensity of the times reflects the intensity of the messages found in the Cosmic Family Volumes. They can be confrontational for people who are going against the ways of God.

Niánn Emerson Chase talks about the divers distractions that we currently allow into our lives; from cell phones and mobile devices, to music and the distorted messages that people put into the world. Climate change is the physical result of our consciousness change. These levels of consciousness can be seen in various cities as discussed in Continuing Fifth Epochal Revelation.
