It's the stuff of nightmares - you get a vascular occlusion, test your patient and find out that they're allergic to hyaluronidase!

As we discuss in this week's Aesthetic Mastery Show, you now have a very difficult decision to make. Do you proceed with the hyaluronidase reversal and risk anaphylaxis, or do you stand by and wait for the inevitable skin necrosis?

Some clinicians have developed a high-risk workaround strategy for this eventuality, but Dr Tim explains why it is not something he would recommend.

Indeed, before you even get to that stage, you first have to diagnose allergy to hyaluronidase which, as Dr Tim explains, is not as simple as doing an intradermal test.
