VBS Day 2 - The Bible is From God with Daniel the Prophet
Anna and Matt hop in the time machine to meet Daniel—aka “Mr. Prophet!” While exploring ancient Babylon, they learn how God used people like Daniel to write down His true words. With fun storytelling and a look at verses like 2 Timothy 3:16–17, they explain how the Bible was written through dreams, conversations, and God’s direction. This episode helps kids see the Bible as not just an old book, but God’s living word for us today.
What You’ll Learn:
📖 The Bible is one big book made up of 66 smaller books.
📝 God used people—like Daniel—to write down His words through dreams, visions, and more.
🌬️ “Divine inspiration” means God breathed out the words of the Bible.
🦁 Daniel’s story shows how God spoke through His people—even in wild places like a lion’s den!
📚 The Bible helps teach us, correct us, and train us to live God’s way (2 Timothy 3:16–17).
Try This at Home:
✅ Read a part of the Book of Daniel—start with Daniel in the lion’s den (Daniel 6)!
✅ Talk as a family about how God might speak to His people today (Hint: through the Bible!).
✅ Memorize 2 Timothy 3:16–17 and draw a picture of what "God-breathed" might look like.
✅ Make your own mini “scroll” with a favorite Bible verse written on it—just like the old days!
✅ Listen to the song we made about 2 Timothy 3:16-17
