All ugliness, selfishness and evil signs are removed. Whatever is beneficial and auspicious we procure for next generation. We prevent and drive away the selfish ones.

Let all defects of hand and feet be removed by the grace of Savita, Varuna, Mitra and Aryama. May we remain joyful in our harmony. Our welfare and happiness has been assured by the Gods.

May these powerful Mantras destroy all negative forces in the self and the body including your hair and sight. May the God Savita be the motivator in your efforts and progress.

Let all those who are intoxicated with hatred and negative thoughts, who do not abide by the law and harm our wealth, be driven away from us. 

Rishi: Brahma

Women in their red stained clothes wander without brothers and lack Thejus. may they be able to control the flow. Stop the flow in the lower and middle parts. Stop the flow in the minor and major arteries. The middle veins have stopped and the veins have come together due to the hundred arteries and thousand veins.  O ladies, block the sexual desire that overpowers you. May your lives be happy.

O, Lord Agni’s sacred nine chariots of bliss, the foremost treasure of the Vedas that is associated with Goddess Durga’s nine universal rivers of fire that help overcome miseries. Thy fire-like luminosity blazes like the sun and enriches the fruits of all actions. O, Goddess Durga, I seek refuge unto thee, with devotion I chant thy names. Thy fire-like supreme nine universal forms bestows well-being to us. As abundant as the sun and the earth, thy earthly essence bestows auspiciousness to sons and daughters. O universal Goddess Durga, thou art the nine rivers of Lord Agni that flank our miseries. O, the energy of pure consciousness gives us self -knowledge extolling thy name. Pleasing qualities, victory and radiance attracts all to the abode of the supreme. Bonding with Goddess Durga’s universal compassion helps overcome miseries. O, Goddess, foremost one of my devotion, who gives me lasting direction with thy nine eternal forms. O, the one who resembles the fire god, Agni, bestow me auspiciousness. Grant me wisdom to overcome my ignorance, like how Lord Indra was supported by Lord Vishnu. Following the devotion to Goddess Vaishnavi is the middle path that suits all. O, Divine being with a thousand heads, the all-seeing, auspicious one of the world. O , Universal God, Narayana, the supreme one who is indestructible. Supreme gem of the universe, O lord of the universe, Narayana. O, Living one comparable to the twice born Universal truth, Purusha, O Master of the Lord of the universal soul and the eternal Shiva and Achutya. O, Narayana, one possessing great energy, the ultimate shelter of the soul of all beings. O, Narayana, the mystifying light of the soul. O, Narayana, the supreme one. O Narayana, the supreme absolute truth of the Brahman. O Narayana, the supreme one. O, Naryana, one who is unfathomable to comprehend, the supreme one to meditate upon. Thou are the true self of the entire universe in all that is seen or heard. Situated inside, outside and all pervading, O Narayana thou art infinite, eternal, unfathomable and the origin of the universe. O, thy lotus like heart and thy face bestows faith, direction and protection when standing by thy side. Thy intense and overwhelming control over the world is immeasurable. To thy rock like peaceful protective cover, I attach myself to thy subtle presence is perceptible everywhere. The face of the universe is the great universal fire in thy centre. Thy heavenly radiance destroys ignorance endlessly. Thy glorious resting posture is the source of peace to all. Peace is revealed through thy body, feet and head. Thy inner fire is the symbol of thy exalted permanence. Thy blue centre is the light of all written knowledge. The superior rays of happiness from thy centre are unparalleled. The core of thy teaching is the permanence of the Paramathma. Thou art the indestructible supreme self of Brahma, Shiva, Hari, Indra.

Rishi: Chaatana

On New Moon days destruction is caused by the ones who devour. May the divine Agni destroy the demons. Varuna had identified and Agni has mentioned the use of lead for protection. This lead destroys the demons and Vishkandha. It causes pain to the ones who devour. All groups of pishaacha are also destroyed.

Rishi: Atharva

Let natures rhythms and currents flow together with the fauna. As in Earlier times may the sacrifice bring joy to us and them. the sacrificed and the sacrificial offering unit the powers.

Appear in response to the call and unite and and increase the sacrifice.

Let all marks of wealth , riches and good wishes come and stay here.

Let the river which have fountains and without end flow together and provide good company.

With this may the riches reach its completion.

Purusha pervades everything conscious and unconsious, in the past present and future as the one who created and hence beyond the creation. 

I remain in the company of learned persons, all living things, sun and celestial bodies. I support the Day and Night, the Air and Fire, the Sun and Earth. I sustain the moon, which dispels darkness, the Sun, the life infusing air and the prosperity of a person. Iconfer wealth on a devotee who leads his life based on the essence of wisdom and revers the sages. I am the foremost ruling power, that bestows treasures, and knows all aspects of knowledge. The wise persons realise Me and see Me in all the diverse forms in the universe. They, by their spiritual activities, will instil Me in their hearts. He who eats, sees, breathes or hears, does so only through my power. Those who have no faith in me court disaster. Oh learned listener! Listen to what I say from inside thy soul. I proclaim the Truth for thee, have faith in it. I myself announced to the sages and all men, that I shall make the man, whom I love, most powerful, a Rishi, even a Bramha. I bend the bow and string it for striking and slaying the foe of knowledge, the violent and the tormentor. I create this pleasant, beautiful world for people. I have entered the Earth and Heaven. On the world’s summit I bring forth the Sun, My home is in the atoms of the ocean of matter. Thence I extend over all existing worlds and engulf even the yonder heaven with my power. Having created all the worlds, I feel free like the wind. Beyond this wide earth and beyond the heavens, I have become so mighty in my grandeur.

He who understands the flowers of water, He becomes the possessor of flowers, progeny and cattle. Moon is the flower of the water, He who knows it ot be so, He becomes the possessor of lowers, progeny and cattle. He who knows the source of water, Becomes established in his Self.

Fire is the source of water, He who knows the source of Fire, Becomes established in his Self, Water is the source of fire, he who knows it to be so, Becomes established in his Self. He who knows the source of water, Becomes established in his Self.

Air is the source of water, He who knows the source of Air, Becomes established in his Self, Water is the source of air, He who knows this Becomes established in his Self.

Scorching sun is the source of water, He who knows the source of the Scorching Sun, Becomes established in his Self, Water is the source of scorching sun, He who knows this Becomes established in his Self. He who knows the source of water, Becomes established in Self.

Moon is the source of water, He who knows the source of Moon, Becomes established in his Self, Water is the source of moon, he who knows this, Becomes established in his Self. He who knows the source of water, Becomes established in his Self.

Stars are the source of water, He who knows the source of the Stars, Becomes established in his Self, Water is the source of stars, He who knows this, Becomes established in himself.

Clouds are the source ow water, He who knows the source of the Clouds, Becomes established in Self, Water is the source of lcouds, He who knows this, Becomes established in his Self. He who knows the source of water, Becomes established in his Self.

Rainy season is the source of water, He who knows the source of Rainy season, becomes established in his Self, Water is the source of rainy season, He who knows this, Becomes established in his Self. He who knows that there is a raft is available, Beocmes established in that raft.

Rishi: Bhrgu-angirasa

Just as one obtains flowers from a tree for a garland. I take this lady with a splendour as that of Bhaga. Just as a mountain with a great with a great base is conspicuous she will shine in the house of my fathers forever. 

O king, controller, may this bride grace my house. May she be happy in my house in the company of my mother, father and brother. 

O shining one , she protects the honour of the clan, we place her with you. She will live happily for a long time with elders. until she reaches old age.

O bridegroom, to you who has the powers of Asita, Kashyapa and Gaya, I give this treasure of the bride. May she be protected like the secret treasure of women.
