Pastor Timothy shows from Romans 3: 27-31 Those who are justified ( i.e. declared righteous) 1 Are free to boast in God not in ourselves.

2. Those who are justified are set free to boast in God-because of faith. 3. Justification means that people throughout the whole world are set free to boast in God. 4. Those who are justified are free to boast in God with obedience.

Pastor Timothy from various scriptures teaches on, 1. The Wrath of God.  1.The passive wrath of God emphasizes our choice to rebel against God. 2. The active wrath of God reveals the sinfulness of our sin.

Pastor Timothy through Romans 3: 21-26 answers the question “How can a righteous God declare sinners righteous and remain righteous himself?”

1. How does a sinner receive righteousness? A. Faith alone. ( it’s not the amount of faith that saves you, it is the object of your faith who saves you!) B. Christ alone. C. Grace alone.

2. How can a sinner be justly justified?  A. Redemption. B. Propitiation.

Pastor David shows from Romans 3:9-20 that No one is righteous. 1.) We are sinners in our hearts. 2.) We are sinners in our words. 3.) We are sinners in our actions.

Pastor Timothy shares six way the Doctrine of Hell ought to shape us. 1. Humble humanity.  2 To reveal the sinfulness of sin.  3. To show us our need for God’s Glory.  4. To lead us to trust God.  5. To impel obedience.  6. To lead us to compassion.

We are prideful. Hell summons us to humility.

We are self-justifying. Hell summons us to see the sinfulness of sin.

We are self-glorying. Hell summons us to see our need for God’s glory

We default to trust ourselves. Hell summons us to trust God.

Even as Christians, we can be tempted to think we’re “fine” Hell reminds us to be zealous for obedience.

We can tend towards judgmentalism. Hell summons us to be compassionate.

Pastor Timothy shows how Paul anticipated the response of the Jews. 1.) What’s the point of obedience if it doesn’t have any  advantage? 2.) Maybe I should just sin so that I can be blessed like those other sinners! He shows God is just in condemning the unbelieving Jew.

Pastor Timothy starts a new evening series called “What is Hell?” In the first message he covers the questions. 1. What is Hell and why does it exist? 2. Who was Hell created for? 3. Are Hades and Hell the same place?

Pastor Timothy shows in Romans 2:25-29 that circumcision, and religious rites, will not rescue anyone from God’s wrath.

Why? 1. True obedience matters. 2. The uncircumcised “keeper of the Law” will condemn the Jews.

How? 2. Only by an internal change of the heart.

GOD counts you His child because Jesus, God the Son gave you His righteousness!
