Today in Northam there is a public forum being held in regards to a Sustainable Health Review. I thought I'd get Aunty Fils 2 cents on it seeing as she has worked in the health industry as a nurse for many years and might have some thoughts on funding. Always a delight :)

Squisher Squasher is a great kids show that has been touring around WA only very recently and is actually written by our very own Emma Davis who runs the Cummins Theatre in Merredin, lovely to have a chat with her on air this morning about it all.

Lach Searl from Mental Health Australia had a chat with me this morning in light of today being Mental Health Awareness Day. He speaks about this years campaign, 'Do you see what I see?’, challenging perceptions on mental illness aiming to reduce stigma.

We do usually check in with Karen Hansen but as she is away we were lucky enough to get a hole of Barbara Brennan who tell us of all the different ways she supports cancer patients and families in our region. Really interesting and just lovely to hear just how much is available to those who are in need.

James West from the Wheatbelt Health Network the legend lets us in on how the Avon Colour Blast went over the weekend and gives us the details on the Night Hoops competition which is returning this weekend in Northam.
